Support Policies

Support policies are annual agreements that provide universities with specific services. If our support policies don't cover what you need, we'll create a unique support policy for your university upon request.

Standard Support Policy

Support policies are annual agreements that provide universities with specific services. If our support policies don't cover what you need, we'll create a unique support policy for your university upon request.

Installation
We personally install version updates upon request when you purchase an SSP for your SAM software license
Training
The SSP comes with three on-site or web-based training sessions, where we teach you how to use SAM and answer any questions you may have about properly using the system.
For on-site training, we will come to your location and provide three training sessions, each three hours long, spread over a week, and scheduled to suite your specific needs
Web-based training also provides three training sessions, each three hours long, but can be spread over two weeks, again scheduled as per your convenience
Maintenance, Updates
The SSP provides you with version updates every three months
Version updates contain the latest security patches, bug fixes, and functionality upgrades compiled over the previous three months
Version updates can be downloaded and installed by your own system administrators

Extended Support Policies

Extended Support Policies

The extended support policies require that an SSP first be in place, or be purchased alongside the extended support policies you require. You can combine the following *-Extended policies as well (DA/DE-SSP, A/DE/GDS-SSP, etc.)

Data-Extended (DA-SP)
Given information that may exist in your current system(s), we integrate compatible data into SAM
If there is a significant amount of information that won't integrate cleanly into SAM, a DE-SP, or Development-Extended Support Policy, may be required
Development-Extended (DE-SP)
We will extend SAM's functionality to handle any needs that are unique to your university
DE-SP is limited by development hours, so the price of a DE-SP is contingent upon how much you need, and how quickly you need it
Authentication-Extended (A-SP)
If your not using LDAP to authenticate students, staff, and administrators, and SAM's traditional authentication model isn't going to work for you, then we'll build out or integrate with your specific authentication system
Graphic-Design-Extended (GDS-SP)
Want SAM to look and feel just like your existing website(s)? Great!
With a GDS-SP, we'll put our graphic designers on the job to ensure that SAM is aesthetically compatible with your current online presence
